Description: The students will work on their CONCENTRATION by performing their form while not looking around the room or at another student.

Students practice staying focused on their techniques and directions without getting distracted by others, sounds, or the environment.
Step 1
Divide your students into groups by rank.
Step 2 – Explain the Rules
  • The instructor will count each move of the form while the students follow along.
  • You must look in the proper direction while doing your form.
  • If you look at another student, at the ceiling or down at the floor you must do 10 jumping jacks.
Step 3 – Takeaways
  • Keep your eyes on the technique you’re doing.
  • Don’t be distracted by noises or counting.
  • Have good chambers on all your techniques.
Step 4
  • Challenge the students to see who can make it through the form without having to do jumping jacks.
Step 5
  • Continue through the form two times.
