Description:
The students will practice their LISTENING skills by waiting to hear the phrase then going to their guardian.
Step 1
Have the students and guardians form lines.
Step 2 – Setting Up the Drill:
The student and guardian will stand a few feet away from each other.
Step 3 – Explain the Rules:
When the guardian says “Hey Ninja Ninja” the ninja will stand up and run to their guardian and give him/ her a hug.
Switch roles after 4 reps (optional).
Step 4 – Takeaways:
Give them time to stand and walk/run to you.
Cheer when they to run to you after you say the phrase.
Make sure the student doesn’t move before you say the phrase.
Step 5
Continue as many times as you can until time is called (approximately 2-minutes).
