Active Warm-Up – 7 Minutes
  • Arms – Int. Shoulder Taps
  • Legs – Int. Squats
  • Core – Bridge w/ Side Taps
  • Abs – Int. Sit Ups
Mat Chat – 3-minutes (Includes Water Break)
  • Today we are going to work on RETENTION.
  • RETENTION refers to how you can store the important information inside of brain, so that you may use it again later.
  • This is important because without RETENTION you may end up forgetting valuable information that could have helped you become more successful.

Here are the three ways that we are going to improve your RETENTION today:

1. Have RETENTION with our long-term memory. 2. Have RETENTION with our short-term memory. 3. Have RETENTION with different commands.
Skill-Building Drills – 15 Minutes

Where’s My Dot:

Students will practice by having to remember where the dot they started on is, as they are playing a game of dodgeball. Each round give the students a new dot.

Color Race:

Students will race down the mat to demonstrate jumps in rings called out by the instructor.
Skill Stripe Test – 10 Minutes
