Static Warm-Up – 7 Minutes

Mat Chat – 3-minutes (Includes Water Break)
  • Today we are going to work on COMMUNICATION.
  • COMMUNICATION refers to how you can talk with your peers and teacher to solve problems and have fun.
  • This is important, especially in martial arts to help build strong bonds with our instructors and teammates.

Here are the three ways that we are going to improve your COMMUNICATION today:

1. Having COMMUNICATION while working with a team. 2. Adding to COMMUNICATION help solve a problem. 3. Using COMMUNICATION while using eye contact.
Skill-Building Drills – 15 Minutes

What’s Your Favorite:

Students will demonstrate their ability to communicate what some of their basics are with the instructor.

Compliment Relay:

Students will race down the mat giving compliments to the instructors, the 1stteam done wins. Compliment only counts if they look their instructor in the eyes.
