Ultimate Warm-Up – 7 Minutes
  • Arms – Army Crawl (Down Mat)
  • Legs – Alt. Lunges (Down Mat)
  • Core – Bear Crawls (Down Mat)
  • Abs – Mountain Climbers (Down Mat)
Mat Chat – 3-minutes (Includes Water Break)
  • Today we are going to work on DETERMINATION.
  • DETERMINATION refers to how you hard you are willing to work to achieve your goals.
  • This is important in martial arts so that you can constantly get better every time that you come to class.

Here are the three ways that we are going to improve your DETERMINATION today:

1. Have DETERMINATION while demonstrating stances. 2. Have DETERMINATION while breaking boards. 3. Have DETERMINATION while staying focused.
Skill-Building Drills – 15 Minutes

Yes I Can:

Students will demonstrate multiple breaks on a board but before each break they have to say “Yes I Can”.

Table Top:

Students will attempt to hold pads on their knees for 5, 10, or 15 seconds. They will do this by getting low into a middle or front stance.
Skill Stripe Test – 10 Minutes
