Skill: CREATIVITY
Drill: Think Fast
Equipment needed: None
Instructors needed: 1 per Line
Description: The students will practice CREATIVITY by demonstrating their ability to think while they’re under pressure. This will challenge the students mentally by having them quickly come up with or run a drill that they weren’t expecting to do, the goal is to be fast without getting aggravated or upset.
Step 1
Divide your students into groups
Step 2 – Setting Up the Drill:
For each group, you will need an instructor.
Step 3 – Explain the Rules:
  • The instructor will pick a random student from the group to stand-up.
  • When the instructor says “GO” the student will have 45 seconds to explain a drill or exercise. (They’re not running the game)
  • If the student cannot explain the game in 45 seconds they must do 5 push-ups.
  • On each round you can decrease the time or increase the amount of push-ups for extra incentive.
Step 4 – Takeaways:
  • Be as loud as you can when explain your game.
  • Look at as many people as you can, as you explain.
  • Do your best to be fast but still explain the drill correctly
Step 5
  • Continue so that each student has at least 2 turns.
