Description: The students will build arm strength by dragging their body down the mat using their palms.
Step 1
  • Have your students lay on their bellies on one end of the mat with their palms on the ground extended in front of them.
Step 2 -Explain the rules:
  • When I say, “go” you will drag your body down the mat using only your palms.
  • Keep your feet together at all times.
  • You will do this going down the mat.
Step 3
  • You can break the movement down into two parts, pulling yourself, then pushing yourself.
