Drill: Ultimate Abs Exercise: Stomach Rolls
Equipment needed: None
Instructors needed: Several to monitor
Description: The students will build abdominal strength by rolling sideways down the mat using their abdominal muscles.
Step 1
  • Have your students lie on their backs horizontally on one end of the mat with their palms together above their head..
Step 2 -Explain the rules:
  • When I say, “go” you will roll your body sideways down the mat using your abdominal muscles.
  • Try to keep your feet together and palms together above your head at all times.
  • You will do this going down the mat.
Step 3
  • If you happen to turn off track, stop and adjust so you don’t run into anyone.
