Drill: Ultimate Leg Exercise: Plyos
Equipment needed: None
Instructors needed: Several to monitor
Description: The students will build their leg strength by jumping down the mat while keeping their feet together at all times and not stopping in between each jump.
Step 1
  • Have your students stand on one end of the mat with their feet together.
Step 2 -Explain the rules:
  • When I say, “go” you will jump down the mat while keeping your feet together.
  • Jump in continuous motion without pausing in between each jump.
  • You will do this going down the mat.
Step 3
  • Focus on landing on the heel and rolling to the ball of the foot in one smooth motion.
