Description:
Students will work on their PATIENCE by having to count before they can kick
Step 1
Have the students and guardians sit with each other.
Step 2 – Setting Up the Drill:
Students will count to 3 and then kick the pad two times
Step 3 – Explain the Rules:
Once the student is able to count to 3 without any problems, count to 5
Finally, try to count to 10 to demonstrate great PATIENCE.
Step 4 – Takeaways:
Help students count as needed making sure they repeat after the guardian.
Cheer students on as they kick.
Encourage students to stay still while they count all by themselves.
Step 5
Continue as many times as you can until time is called (approximately 2-minutes).
