Drill: Look! No Hands!
Equipment needed: NONE
Instructors needed: One per line
Description: The students will practice IMPROVISATION by running a drill where they are not allowed to use their hands.
Step 1
Divide your students into groups
Step 2 – Setting Up the Drill:
For each group, you will need an Instructor.
Step 3 – Explain the Rules:
  • The instructor will choose one student to lead a drill.
  • That student will pick their favorite drill and they should explain it.
  • But they are not allowed to use their hands at all, so they must improvise on how they can explain the game.
Step 4 – Takeaways:
  • Have a loud voice.
  • Be energetic as you lead the exercise.
  • Be creative with how you use intrinsic motivation.
Step 5
  • Continue so that each student has at least 2 turns.
