Instructors needed: 1 per Line
Description: The students will practice their long term memory by having to remember a combination they just saw then repeat the names of the moves in order.
Teaching SKILLZ:
The students will practice their long term memory by having to remember a combination they just saw then repeat the names of the moves in order.
Brain SKILLZ:
VISUAL PROCESSING – The student must be able to see the move that the instructor does, and correspond the move to the correct technique name. This works on their ability to make sense of what they see by linking the names to how the moves look.
Step 1
Divide your students into lines
Step 2 – Setting Up the Drill:
The instructor will perform 3 moves.
Step 3 – Explain the Rules:
  • Then the student must say the name of each move the instructor performed.
  • Continue for 3 combinations
  • If they can do all 3 correctly, the instructor will do 5 push-ups.
Step 4 – Takeaways:
  • Watch the instructor.
  • Think about each move the instructor does.
  • Keep the moves stuck in your brain.
Step 5
  • Continue until each student has 2 turns.
