Skill: MEMORY
Drill: Double Memory
Equipment needed: None
Instructors needed: 1 per Line
Description: The students will practice their memory by performing a 3-move combination with both hands and feet. This will help the students build good intellectual development of their short-term memory.
Teaching SKILLZ:
CHOICES – On the second round, the instructor can ask the student what difficulty they would like: easy (three moves), medium (four moves), or hard (five moves). This will allow the students to choose their own difficulty that they are comfortable with. The choice in the activity will also empower the students, as they will feel more in control over what they are doing.
Brain SKILLZ:
WORKING MEMORY – The student must be able to hear a combination and perform it correctly. This works on their ability to hold onto information while performing a task, as the students must remember the proper hand/foot, as well as the correct move as they repeat their combinations.
