Teaching SKILLZ:
INTRINSIC MOTIVATION – The instructor can give the students a blackbelt challenge if they want to be like a blackbelt, and give them a different order of dots they are supposed to roll to.
Brain SKILLZ:
WORKING MEMORY – The student must be able to remember the proper order of the dots they are supposed to roll to when the instructor tells them each round.
Step 1
Divide your students into lines
Step 2 – Setting Up the Drill:
Lay out four numbered circles in order to form a square.
Step 3 – Explain the Rules:
When I say “go” you will roll the ball over the numbered circles in the proper order.
You must keep your hands on the ball at all times.
Once you reach the fourth circle, you will kick the pad four times with each leg.
