Dynamic Warm-Up – 7 Minutes
  • Arms – Triangle push-ups for 15 reps
  • Legs – Jump squat scissor kicks for 15 reps
  • Abs – V-sit up for 15 reps
  • Core – Half windmill for 15 reps
  • Sit-Down stretches

Mat Chat – 3-minutes (Includes Water Break)
  • Today we are going to work on KNOWLEDGE.
  • KNOWLEDGE means the acquaintance with facts, truths, or principles from study.
  • This is important because you need to be able to perform your moves without having to stop and think about them.

Here are the three ways that we are going to improve your KNOWLEDGE today:

1. Having KNOWLEDGE on the spot. 2. Practicing combinations from memory. 3. Using combinations with good technique.
Skill-Building Drills – 30 Minutes

Follow the Leader:

The students will practice having good KNOWLEDGE of their side control and ability to move.

Log Rolls:

The students will practice their KNOWLEDGE of the anaconda choke specifically focusing on the ability to roll and maintain a good grip.
