When you help each other, you can have a lot of fun doing so. In this drill, you are going to practice your kicks by holding the target for each other.

See which partners can have the best teamwork and count the loudest; the instructor can also come up with silly team names for the partnerships as well to motivate them.
Brain SKILLZ: WORKING MEMORY
The student must be able to remember the proper procedures while working with their partner, like bowing and counting for each other correctly.
Step 1
Ask your student’s to sit quietly on the deck. Have two students stand up and face each other. Give one student the clapper target.
Step 2
The students will face each other and bow, shake hands with their right hand, and look each other in the eyes and say “do your best.”
Step 3 – Explain the Rules:
One student will hold the clapper pad firmly with both hands
The partner will front kick the target five times
The student holding the pad will count loudly for each kick
After the 5th kick, the students will both say “finished sir/ ma’am”
The student will hand the target to his/ her partner and repeat the steps
When they are both finished helping each other, they will shake hands again, look each other in the eye, and say “good job.”
Step 4
Repeat the drill until everyone has a turn. Make sure you emphasize that they are helping each other.
