Drill: Ultimate Abs Exercise: Swimmers
Equipment needed: None
Instructors needed: Several to monitor
Description: The students will build abdominal strength by moving their legs in a bicycle-like motion non-stop for ten seconds.
Step 1
  • Have your students lay on their backs.
Step 2 -Explain the rules:
  • When I say, “go” you will kick your legs up and down as if you were swimming, without stopping.
  • To swim even faster, try to keep your knees straight!
Step 3
  • Continue to swim while the instructor counts for ten seconds.
