Ultimate Core Exercise: Bear Crawls Down the Mat

The students will build their core strength by crawling up and down the mat like a bear.
Have your students hold their body up with their hands and feet on one end of the mat.
Step 2 -Explain the rules:
When I say, “go” you will crawl up and down the mat like a bear without letting your knees or elbows touch the group.
You will crawl as fast as you can without falling or using your knees.
Continue once up the mat, and once back down the mat.
