Drill: Partner Stretching: Butterfly Stretch
Equipment needed: None
Instructors needed: Several to monitor
Description: The students will practice their Partner stretching focusing on their hips while their instructor assists by pushing their knees a little lower.
Step 1
  • Divide your students into lines.
Step 2 -Explain the rules:
  • Sit down with your knees bent and feet in.
  • Touch the bottom of your feet together and hold your toes.
  • You will lean forward lowering your head as far as you can go.
  • Your partner will assist by pushing your back a little farther down.
  • Hold for 10 seconds.
Step 3
  • Continue until you have done 2 sets.
