Partner Stretching: Straddle Stretch

The students will practice their PARTNER stretching focusing on their hips and hamstrings by sitting in split position and reaching forward while an instructor gently pushes them farther.
Divide your students into lines.
Step 2 -Explain the rules:
Sit in split position with both feet out to the sides, knees straight.
Lean and reach as far forward as you can.
The instructor will then apply gently pressure to push you farther forward.
Hold for 10 seconds.
Continue until you have done 2 sets.
