Drill: Dynamic Stretching: Inch Worm Hops
Equipment needed: None
Instructors needed: Several to monitor
Description: The students will work on their DYNAMIC stretching by crawling like an inch worm stretching their hamstrings.
Step 1
  • Divide your students into lines.
Step 2 -Explain the rules:
  • Stand with feet together.
  • Walk your hand forward on the floor until you are in a push up position.
  • Keeping your knees straight, hop landing with your feet between your hands.
  • Focus on not lifting your hands off the ground when you hop.
  • Continue all the way down the mat.
Step 3
  • Continue for 2 sets.
