Drill: Dynamic Stretching: Middle Split Push Ups
Equipment needed: None
Instructors needed: Several to monitor
Description: The students will work on their DYNAMIC stretching by performing a push up from the middle split position.
Step 1
  • Divide your students into lines.
Step 2 -Explain the rules:
  • Go to a middle split position with your hands between your legs.
  • Move your hands forward into push up position.
  • Perform a good push up, and then walk your hands back to the original starting position.
  • Perform 10 sit ups.
Step 3
  • Continue for 2 sets.
