Drill: Dynamic Stretching: Side Leg Swings
Equipment needed: None
Instructors needed: Several to monitor
Description: The students will work on their DYNAMIC stretching by swinging their leg up to the side focusing on flexibility in their hips and inner thigh.
Step 1
  • Divide your students into lines.
Step 2 -Explain the rules:
  • Stand with feet shoulder width apart.
  • Keep your leg straight while you swing your leg to the side, as high as you can.
  • Focus on not bending your knee.
  • Perform 10 reps on each side.
Step 3
  • Continue for 2 sets.
