Class 2 – Consistancy

Active Warm-Up – 7 Minutes
  • Arms – Beg. Push-ups
  • Legs – Int. Squats
  • Core – Bridge w/ Kicks
  • Abs – Knee Pulls
Mat Chat – 3-minutes (Includes Water Break)
  • Today we are going to work on CONSISTENCY.
  • CONSISTENCY refers to being able to do the same thing repeatedly.
  • This is important in martial arts; with CONSISTENCY, your techniques will always come out clean and proper.

Here are the three ways that we are going to improve your CONSISTENCY today:

1. Have CONSISTENCY with our punches 2. Have CONSISTENCY while doing front kicks. 3. Have CONSISTENCY while using movement.
Skill-Building Drills – 15 Minutes

Pad Pops:

Students will work on having multiple punches that make the pad pop.

In the Ring:

Students will do multiple front kicks going through a foam ring without hitting it.
