Drill: Dynamic Stretching: Stretch Kicks
Equipment needed: None
Instructors needed: Several to monitor
Description: The students will practice their DYNAMIC stretching focusing on their hip and hamstrings by performing a straight leg swing.
Step 1
  • Divide your students into lines.
Step 2 -Explain the rules:
  • Stand in a guarding stance with your hands up.
  • When the instructor counts, swing your leg as high as you can.
  • Focus on not bending your knee when going higher.
  • Count 10 kicks on each side.
Step 3
  • Continue for two sets.
