Drill: Active Stretching: Forward Lunges
Equipment needed: None
Instructors needed: Several to monitor
Description: The students will work on their ACTIVE stretching by focusing on their Quads and Groin.
Step 1
  • Divide your students into lines.
Step 2 -Explain the rules:
  • Stand with your hands up.
  • Step far forwards, with the opposite leg drop your knee to the floor.
  • Use your hips to drive your hips forward and stretch.
  • Hold for 10 seconds then switch legs.
Step 3
  • Continue to stretch for 2 reps on each side.
