Drill: Ultimate Leg Exercise: Advanced Plyos Down the Mat
Equipment needed: None
Instructors needed: Several to monitor
Description: Have your students stand on one end of the mat with one leg up in the air.
Step 1
  • Have your students sit sideways on end of the mat and raise their body off the ground with the palms of their hands and their feet as if they were a table..
Step 2 -Explain the rules:
  • When I say, “go” you will jump down the mat without putting your foot down.
  • Jump in a continuous motion without pausing in between each jump.
  • You will do this up and down the mat.
Step 3:
  • Continue for two rounds.
  • On the second round, have them switch legs and also make it a race to see who can make it down the mat and back the fastest.
