Description:
The students will practice having good ATTENTIVENESS by demonstrating their ability to hear the instructor call a specific part of the foot which correlates to a specific kick, they will then do that kick on a pad.
Step 1
Divide your students into lines
Step 2 – Setting Up the Drill:
The 1st student in each line will stand up in front of the instructor.
Step 3 – Explain the Rules:
The instructor will hold the pad normal not giving away any hints to what the kick maybe.
The instructor will call out either instep (top), ball, or heel these parts correlate to round kick, front kick, or side kick.
When that part is called, the students will run down the mat and kick the bag with the proper kick 5 times.
They will then return to their teams.
