Drill: Hop to it
Equipment needed: Numbered dots 1 – 5
Instructors needed: 1 per Line
Description: The students will work on HOPPING to a specific number. This will help the students develop spatial awareness between the numbers and each other.
Teaching SKILLZ:
HEALTHY COMPETITION – The instructor can award a point to the student who go to the dot the fastest, while hopping correctly. The students want to get as many points as they can.
SPEED OF PROCESSING – The student must hear the instructor call out a number, and hop to the correctly numbered dot. This works on their ability to complete a task quickly and accurately, as they need to hear the instructor and spot the dot in order to play this game correctly.
