Drill: Dynamic Abs Exercise: Leg Pulses

Description: The students will build abdominal strength by rapidly moving their legs up and down within a 6-inch segment non-stop for 10 seconds.
Step 1
  • Have your students lie on their backs and raise their shoulders and feet slightly off the ground.
Step 2 -Explain the rules:
  • When I say, “go” you will raise and lower your legs non-stop within a 6-inch segment and without letting your feet touch the ground.
  • Try to keep your feet together at all times.
  • You will do this for 10 seconds.
Step 3
  • Pulse your legs faster as you count.
