Description:
The students will practice having good LISTENING by demonstrating their ability to being able to listen for the instructor who is trying to sneak up on them. This will challenge the students intellectually by requiring them to focus in all small sounds that are made during the game.
Step 1
Divide your students into lines
Step 2 – Setting Up the Drill:
The 1st student in each line will stand up and face the instructor.
Step 3 – Explain the Rules:
The instructor will blindfold the student and then back up.
When the student says “GO” the instructor will try and sneak up and tag the student.
But if the student takes the blindfold off and catches the instructor moving the instructor is out.
But if the instructor can get to the student then the instructor wins.
If the instructor isn’t moving when the blindfold id off then that won’t count.
Step 4 – Takeaways:
Listen for all the sounds that are made.
Make sure you play fair and don’t just turn at any time.
