Description:
The students will practice having good LISTENING by demonstrating their ability to listen to their friends by going around in a circle and sharing things that they like from the topic chosen by the instructor. This will challenge them mentally by requiring them to listen to their peers and be able to repeat what their friend said as well as add something about their self.
Step 1
Divide your students into lines
Step 2 – Setting Up the Drill:
The instructor will choose one person in the circle to start the drill.
Step 3 – Explain the Rules:
Before the students start the student will tell everyone what the topic for the drill is. (ex. Colors, Animals, Foods)
The student chosen will then start by saying “I like the color blue.” The next student will say the previous students name and what color they liked.
They must then say what their favorite color is.
This is not a memory game so they only need to repeat what the person next to them says. The goal is to have them listening to their friends in class.
