  • Today we are going to work on RHYTHM.
  • RHYTHM means a variation marked by the regular recurrence or natural flow of related elements.
  • This is important because we want to be able to have RHYTHM in our combinations so we can deliver them effectively.

Here are the three ways that we are going to improve your RHYTHM today:

1. Using variable RHYTHM with your strikes. 2. Maintaining a constant RHYTHM in your strikes. 3. Have RHYTHM while increasing your speed.
Skill-Building Drills – 30 Minutes

Pyramids:

Work basic body kick series 1-3 using pyramid style repetition.

Speed Rounds:

Try to do your combo as many times as possible on the bag before time is called, try to beat that score with each round.
