Mat Chat – 3-minutes (Includes Water Break)
  • Today we are going to work on FLUIDITY.
  • FLUIDITY means changing readily; not being fixed, stable, or rigid.
  • This is important because you need FLUIDITY to be able to throw multiple strikes and be able to quickly counter back if an opponent stops.

Here are the three ways that we are going to improve your FLUIDITY skills today:

1. Having FLUIDITY with combinations while moving forward. 2. Having FLUIDITY while maintaining control of their speed. 3. Maintaining FLUIDITY to knock your opponent off balance and attack.
Skill-Building Drills – 30 Minutes

Chase:

Maintain constant offense as you chase your back pedaling opponent down the mat.

Turn and Burn:

Focus on turning your opponent with your hook punch, cutting off on an angle and finishing your combination.
