  • Today we are going to work on TIMING.
  • TIMING means selecting the best time or speed for doing something in order to achieve the desired or maximum result.
  • It takes great TIMING to be an effective Martial Artist and perform movements with speed and safety.

Here are the three ways that we are going to improve your TIMING today:

1. Using your TIMING to catch body kicks 2. Using your TIMING to develop consistency in motion. 3. Using your TIMING to build great kick catching.
Skill-Building Drills – 30 Minutes

Combo Kicks:

Practice defending against body kicks while utilizing striking and strike defenses.

Don’t Get Caught:

Challenge your partner to see if they can catch your body kick.
