  • Today we are going to work on GRACEFULNESS.
  • GRACEFULNESS means display grace in form or action.
  • This is important because footwork is the basis for getting us into and out of position.

Here are the three ways that we are going to improve your GRACEFULNESS today:

1. Using proper technique while moving with a partner. 2. Using consistent footwork. 3. Demonstrate proper shadowboxing to tell a story.
Skill-Building Drills – 30 Minutes

Mirror Footwork:

Work with a partner to mirror each other’s footwork without falling behind or getting lost.

Shadow Boxing:

Develop the basis for shadowboxing by using only footwork and then adding in striking.
