  • Today we are going to work on ORIENTATION.
  • ORIENTATION means ones’ position in relation to a specific place or object.
  • This is important because you need to be aware of where our opponents openings are and how to effectively strike them.

Here are the three ways that we are going to improve your ORIENTATION skills today:

1. Showing proper ORIENTATION of your body after performing a technique. 2. Having ORIENTATION when challenged spatially. 3. Having ORIENTATION in your footwork to evade counters.
Skill-Building Drills – 30 Minutes

Around the Bag:

Practice using a body kick and finishing with the focus on finishing the technique having moved off on an angle.
