Mat Chat – 3-minutes (Includes Water Break)
  • Today we are going to work on FLUIDITY.
  • FLUIDITY means changing readily; not being fixed, stable, or rigid.
  • This is important because you need FLUIDITY to be able to throw multiple strikes and be able to quickly counter back if an opponent stops.

Here are the three ways that we are going to improve your FLUIDITY skills today:

1. Having FLUIDITY with transitions between punches and kicks. 2. Having FLUIDITY while maintaining control of their speed. 3. Maintaining FLUIDITY to defend without loss of technique.
Skill-Building Drills – 30 Minutes

1,2,3 Kick:

Practice J,C,H having FLUIDITY to step and kick right after.

Back and Forth:

Work on having smooth movements with your parry as you move with a partner.
