One number dot (per student)

One per group
Description:
The students will work on their BLOCKING by taking turns to lead a group through blocks.
Teaching SKILLZ:
EXTRINSIC MOTIVATION – Whichever student does the best high blocks can pick next.
Brain SKILLZ:
LONG TERM MEMORY – The student must be able to turn the dot and know the number, and remember how to do a high block correctly.
Step 1
Divide your students into groups.
Step 2 – Setting Up the Drill:
For each group you will need number dots for each student spread around the circle face down.
Step 3 – Explain the Rules:
The student will run and pick up a number dot and bring it back to the circle.
They will then lead the group through however many blocks is on the number dot.
Whoever had the best blocks gets to pick the next number.
Step 4 – Takeaways:
Switch hands with each block.
Count every rep super loud.
Hold blocking hands high and chamber hands tight.
Step 5
Continue until each student has 1 turn.
