Description:
The students will work on their BLOCKING in this drill by standing up as fast as they can and demonstrate two blocks.
Teaching SKILLZ:
TRICKERY – The instructor can say words that sound like “go”, like “gopher” or “go-kart”, in order to keep the students engaged and enhance their auditory processing.
Brain SKILLZ:
AUDITORY PROCESSING – The student must be able to hear the instructor say “go”, and pop up and do two blocks.
Step 1
Divide your students into lines
Step 2 – Setting Up the Drill:
For each line you will need one instructor to hold a foam bopper.
Step 3 – Explain the Rules:
The students will lie on their stomachs.
When the instructor says go, the student will “pop” up and do 2 blocks.
