Drill: Partner Stretching: Standing Hamstring Stretch
Equipment needed: None
Instructors needed: Several to monitor
Description: The students will work on their PARTNER stretching by lying on their back while their partners lift their leg up stretching the hamstring.
Step 1
  • Divide your students into lines.
Step 2 -Explain the rules:
  • Lay on your back with your legs straight.
  • Your partner will lift one leg up while stepping on the other ankle or pant leg.
  • Then lift the leg towards their head and hold for 10 seconds.
  • Focus on not bending your knees.
Step 3
  • Continue to stretch for 2 sets.
