Mat Chat – 3-minutes (Includes Water Break)
  • Today we are going to work on SHARPNESS.
  • SHARPNESS refers to how clean your movements are, down to hand and foot positioning.
  • This is important because without SHARPNESS your technique appears sloppy and ineffective.

Here are the three ways that we are going to improve your SHARPNESS today:

1. Have SHARPNESS with movement. 2. Have SHARPNESS while landing. 3. Have SHARPNESS in repetition.
Skill-Building Drills – 25 Minutes

Over the Moon:

Students will practice 10 540 knee tucks, chamber the left foot in the air jump off the right foot and bring up and over your left knee and land on your right foot.

Twisted:

Students will demonstrate a pop 180 round kicks 5x on each leg, They must land on the leg that they kicked with.
