Drill: Animals
Equipment needed: None
Instructors needed: Multiple to Monitor
Description: Students will work on their THINKING by thinking of how different animals move and what noise they make
Step 1
Have students and guardians standing on their dots.
Step 2 – Setting Up the Drill:
Choose one students to to go first.
Step 3 – Explain the Rules:
  • That student will choose an animal for everyone to pretend to be.
  • Ask each student the sound that animal makes, and what they look like.
  • Once we know how to act, each student will go down the mat pretending to be that animal.
  • Continue until everyone has had a turn to choose an animal.
Step 4 – Takeaways:
  • Be patient as students think about their animal
  • Encourage students to be fast
  • Cheer on the students as they go down the mat.
Step 5
  • Continue for 1-2 rounds
