Drill: Dynamic Stretching: Windmills
Equipment needed: None
Instructors needed: Several to monitor
Description: The students will work on their DYNAMIC stretching by standing with their feet apart, reaching across their body touch their toes.
Step 1
  • Divide your students into lines.
Step 2 -Explain the rules:
  • Stand with both feet double shoulder width apart and hands out to the sides.
  • Lean forward reaching with your left and try and touch your right foot without bending your knees.
  • Stand back up and repeat to the other side.
  • Repeat for 10 reps alternating sides.
Step 3
  • Continue to stretch for 2 sets.
