Drill: Dynamic Stretching: Kneeling Sideways Leg Swing
Equipment needed: None
Instructors needed: Several to monitor
Description: The students will work on their DYNAMIC stretching focusing on the inner leg by kneeling on one knee keeping the other leg straight, then swinging their leg up and to the side.
Step 1
  • Divide your students into lines.
Step 2 -Explain the rules:
  • Kneel down with one knee on the floor and the other leg straight.
  • You can use your hands for balance if needed.
  • Swing your leg up and to the side without falling over.
  • Continue for 10 reps each side.
Step 3
  • Continue to stretch for 2 sets.
