Drill: Active Abs Exercise: Sit-ups
Equipment needed: None
Instructors needed: A Few to Monitor
Description: The students will build abdominal strength by lifting their shoulders off the ground for ten reps.
Step 1
  • Have your students lay on their backs with their arms crossed on their chests.
Step 2 -Explain the rules:
  • When I say, “go” you will raise your shoulders off the ground, and then lower them back to the ground.
  • Keep your arms crossed on your chest at all times.
  • You will do this for ten reps.
Step 3
  • Try to bring your elbows to your knees, not knees to elbows.
