Drill: Ring Circles
Equipment needed: 1 ring per line(foam rings amazon)
Instructors needed: 1 per Line
Description: The students will practice having good DURABILITY by demonstrating their ability to demonstrate arm circles with a ring on their arm. This will challenge the students physically by requiring them to target muscles that can be lower toned for some kids on the spectrum.
Step 1
Divide your students into lines
Step 2 – Setting Up the Drill:
The 1st student in each line will stand up and face the instructor.
Step 3 – Explain the Rules:
  • The student will stick 1 arm out and the instructor will place the ring on the students’ wrist.
  • The student will try and do 10 arm circles with the ring on their arm.
  • On round 2 the students will use their opposite arm.
Step 4 – Takeaways:
  • Keep your arms straight to get stringer.
  • Do big circles if small ones are hard.
  • Keep going and try your hardest.
Step 5
  • Continue until each student has 2-3 turns.
