Static Arm Exercise: Seal Holds

The students will build arm strength by holding their upper body up with their palms.
Have your students lay on their bellies with their palms on the ground at their side, right below their shoulders.
Step 2 -Explain the rules:
When I say, “go” you will raise your head and belly off the ground using your palms, just like a seal.
You will hold the seal position and count to ten.
While you are counting, try not to move your body at all.
Try to have them keep their hands lower towards their belt.
