Drill: Bunny Hops
Equipment needed: Multiple rings per line
Instructors needed: 1 per Line
Description: The students will practice having good STAMINA by demonstrating their ability to hop forward down the rings and backwards down the rings, they will do these with the best technique they can, to build the strength in their legs.
Step 1
Divide your students into lines
Step 2 – Setting Up the Drill:
The student will stand up and face the rings.
Step 3 – Explain the Rules:
  • The students will have their feet together and must to hop in each of the rings.
  • Once they reach the end then they will do 10 kicks then they will hop backwards down the mat.
  • They will then do 10 more kicks one they get back to the end.
Step 4 – Takeaways:
  • Keep your feet together on your hops
  • Go fast on your kicks
  • Move quick on your jumps
Step 5
  • Continue until each student has 2-3 turns.
