Drill: Dynamic Leg Exercise: Jump Squat Scissor Kick
Equipment needed: None
Instructors needed: Several to monitor
Description: The students will build their leg strength by jumping and kicking in the air while they switch feet, and land in the same spot for 20 reps.
Step 1
  • Have your students stand in a guarding stance.
Step 2 -Explain the rules:
  • When I say, “go” you will jump and kick in the air while you switch feet and then land in the same post.
  • You will do this for twenty reps.
Step 3:
  • Continue for two rounds.
  • On the second round, have them jump even higher.
